Guest guest
I was eating breakfast when I read your post about " rheumalaid " - I could only hope it was a new PA treatment in the form of a fruit spread for my toast! Wishful thinking... _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp

I think all that this is would be a biopsy of the tissue to confirm that this is definitely psoriasis. Janet
Guest guest
Thought I dont consider myself an expert I will take a shot at clarifying this question. The word psoriasorma is puzzling to me maybe someone can translate that into American English. If that word were intended to be psoriaform that would mean; having the appearance of psoriasis. Epithelial hyperplasia means faster than normal growth of mucous membrane type skin. There have been a few accounts of psoriasis going on to affect areas such as inside the mouth and in the nose etc. it is rather uncommon for psoriasis to present in that type of tissue so that diagnosis should warrant further evaluation. Due to the mention of " 10 spot biopsy " suggesting that there was a fairly extensive examination done I would suspect that the examining doctor was just as puzzled in trying to diagnose just what is causing the condition in the patient as I am in trying to decypher the transcription of his/her latin. The actual diagnosis " psoriasorma Ephithelial Hyperplasia " of the vulva. Would you ask your " experts " what they know about this and if anyone else is dealing with it and how? Guest guest
I have not heard of what you describe but I did have a biopsy on my scalp once to confirm psoriasis. 10 spots sounds very uncomfortable though. Guest guest
thank you Orin..it makes more sense now although it does sound as if the doc isn't sure...or he would have diagnosed simply psoriasis or inverse psoriasis or genital psoriasis? I will ask if he recommended any elidel cream or a mild steroid. I consider you an expert I know you have spent hours and hours reading on psoriasis . thanks so much, Marti > > Thought I dont consider myself an expert I will take a shot at clarifying > this question.
