9 Year old Dies of her injuries

This is from our local paper. She was an only child. Her dad was

driving and he is still in the hospital in very serious condition. The

young girl who hit them from behind and pushed them into oncoming

traffic was Texting on her phone at the time.

— A 9-year-old girl has died from traumatic injuries

she suffered in an Oct. 10 car accident, the Westchester County

Medical Examiner's Office said.

She died on Friday in after roughly one week in a coma. Her father,who

was also critically injured in the crash, is now listed in good condition

according to Billig, spokesman for the medical center. Her

father 46, is a physical education teacher and coach.

The accident happened when his car was struck from behind and then his

broadsided by a van.
