Dear Martha,

You're invited to take part in WVE's first Water Cooler Chat this Wednesday,

March 11, at 11:30 MST! Click here to register for this one-hour phone

discussion*.

(*Note: Due to a technical problem, you may not be able to view the registration

page if you are using Internet Explorer.  If you encounter this problem, try

opening it with another browser, such as Firefox or Safari, or contact WVE at

406.543.3747.)

WVE's first Water Cooler Chat is focused on mercury, which is a toxic chemical

that affects the brain and nervous system and can be found in dental fillings,

thermostats, fish, and other household products. On the call, you'll learn:

how mercury gets into the environment

how it gets into our bodies

about the health impacts associated with mercury

what you can do to limit your exposure

And, of course, we'll leave plenty of time for you to ask any of your unanswered

questions.

We know that it can be confusing to figure out how to protect yourself and your

family from toxic chemicals. Here's your chance to talk with the experts to get

your questions answered, " de-mystify " the science, and take action on the issues

that matter to you!

Stay tuned for future WVE Water Cooler Chats!

May:potential health hazards associated with disinfectants

July: federal legislation to improve cosmetics safety

October: unregulated chemicals in fragrances (in cleaning products and personal

care products) and their impacts on women's health.

We look forward to chatting with you this Wednesday!

Warmly,

The Women of WVE
