Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Pathways for Exceptional Children would like to remind everyone to register for the 5th annual Hand-in-Hand Walkathon on May 16, 2009 from 10:00am-12:00pm. The proceeds raised will help to fund our programs for children with special needs and their mentors. There will be games, mega soccer played with a 5 foot airball, prizes, and lots of food. The 5th grade class from Cedar Hill Elementary will be helping to sponsor our walkathon this year as a part of their 5th grade project. The entire 5th grade of 60 kids at Cedar Hill went through the mentor training and will be helping at the walk.We would like to extend a special thanks to them for all of their help!!! To download a registration form please go to the home page on our website listed below. We have many programs coming in the month of May 2009. We will be starting Pillo Polo for children ages 3-10 on Mondays 4:30pm-5:15pm beginning May 11th. Bowling will start again Wednesdays beginning May 13th from 4:30pm-5:30pm at the Boonton Lanes for kids ages 3-21. Magic of Reading for ages 5-9 will be only for one session Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30pm-4:15pm beginning May 19th. Finally we will be starting a new program called the Magic of Writing that will begin Tuesdays and Thursdays after reading from 4:15pm-5:15pm for children kindergarten through 3rd grade on May 19th. Our summer camp will be returning upon popular demand this year and will focus on building literacy skills. It will be a six week camp beginning June 22. Our Project Win-Win class is currently underway for kids ages 12-21. All of these programs can be found on our website www.montvillepec.org. Please also note since we are expanding more and more across the state we are changing our url name to www.PathwaysKids.org. It is not case sensitive and you will continue to be able to reach us through either url until the summer when we will be announcing our new website. We are just starting to introduce it now to get you ready. Look forward to seeing everyone at the Walkathon on May 16th!!
