Guest guest
I recently joined this group because of my concerns for my 13 yr. old ASD son who, on occaision, continues to struggle with his expressive language (word retrieval, slow processing etc). Have any of you tried the fish oil and vitamin E supplements with an older child and had any success? I figure its worth a try on him regardless, but I just wondered if anyone had any experiences to share that might be helpful. Thank you. Guest guest
My child is 12 1/2 years old. I just came upon this website last spring. We started on the Pro EFA and the vitamin E. I have to say that we were able to reduce her concerta considerably, and used the vitamin E for quite some time. The pro EFA made her much calmer, and the Vitamin E makes her mean as a skunk. She expresses herself so much more clearly, and seems much more at ease with others. We have also embarked on a full program with NACD (National Association for Child Development), so we've done much. We have also seen wonderful improvements in the past 6 months. Hope this helps.
