Guest guest
Thank you. Yes this is definatley the worst year of school for my yet. I do not know if my state has that type of school or not. It sounds like a good alternative though. Well I think one of the problems is the fact my son keeps mentioning to me he does not like his one on one aide this year. I have tried several times to have discussions about with the specail ed person at school. Getting the same thing nothing wrong. Aide talks like a church mouse to my son she could not be possibly yelling at my son. he tells me she is though. My son when he walks inthe door tells me aide (the name) yelled at me today. But when asked tells me no answer. I look find this note sent home in my sons daily planner telling me that my son took another students pencil and cut off the eraser into little pieces for no reason and did it on purpose. plus she wrote he thought it was funny. Now the note had a few cross outs through the writing and the way it was written looks like the aide was mad when she wrote it. I asked my son further questions and he still will not tell me much. I think there must of been something to cause my son to do this . This is such a stupid and small thing for a kid to do. Take someones pencil and cut the eraser off into little pieces. I know it was wrong to do. But this note i got sent home to me just seemed in the tone of bbeing way to upset for sucha little thing. My son has never done anything to require a note in regards to behavior before. He says she yelled at him. i believe he got yelled at. He si in sensory overload and reacting int he way to suggest he got yelled at. He does not do well when yelled at especially in his face. Itscares a lot when people raise their voice even in conversation. he goe sinto major meltdown emotionally. Boy do I wish June was hwere. I can not wit for 4th grade to be over. I was wondering if there is any type of virtual academy in NH. In GA the kids can go to the school over the internet. It is technically home schooling, but you don't have to plan any lessons or write tests, it is all done on the computer. Just a thought. Hang in there. We had a year like that . Every day Maddy told me she did not want to go and I really blame myself for pushing her. I should have listened to her, but she needed the academics. It was her worst year by far. She was not abused, but she was neglected. In GA this option is called the virtual academy. I am sure the DOE in NH will know if they have something similar or not.
