Guest guest
Just to mention that there is now also mb12 in the form of nasal spray, much better if your kid is affraid of the shots (although they do not hurt much and many kids do not mind them at all), but mine was terrified, would wake up if we tried them at night etc.. this led us to try the nasal spray and I believe he is responding much better to the spray than he did to the shots. I hear that happening with some other kids too. I think the spray has some colour in it but not sure, you can try phoning Coastal Compounding or one of the other compounding pharmacies direct. or try posting the question on mb12/valtrex list. Guest guest
Go to Dr. Neubrander's website and watch the videos. A picture is worth 1000 words. Guest guest
I think its different for everyone. My son said his first full complete sentence 2 days after his first shot. We saw an immediate boom of language in the first 2-3 weeks then it slowed down a bit and leveled off. We have using MB12 shots for 16 months and have seen a nice slow and steady increase in speech, both in sentence length and structure, and the amount and complexity of words he uses. I used oral mB12. I saw changes within 48 hours of giving the mB12/folic acid combo with carnitine. Dana

Guest guest
> > Dana how much carnitine did you give? Based on the doses of B12 and other Bs and C I was giving, he required 5000mg carnitine per day. I gave him his supplements twice yesterday, instead of once [because I was able to watch them wear off over the past week], and so therefore yesterday I gave 10,000mg carnitine, and it worked out very well. Guest guest
> > My 9 yo daughter had her first mB12 shot on Monday. She was super giggly, hyper, running around laughing, and very affectionate. Give it with folic acid. For some kids, including mine, carnitine is also required. And, it can tend to cause yeast overgrowth. Dana
Guest guest
Is this something that you need a doctor's prescription? I mean, is there a process to follow for it? Thank you, June
