Family Services Community Grants Deadline: June 25, 2009

Autism Speaks invites service providers to submit a Family Services

Community Grant proposal. The focus of Autism Speaks Family Services

Community Grants is on proposals that serve to build the field of services

for individuals with autism and expand the capacity to effectively serve

this growing community. Organizations interested in submitting an

application must address one of the four areas of need: education,

recreation/community activities, equipment/supportive technology, and young

adult/adult services. Successful applicants will apply grant funding to

support new programs or the expansion of existing projects. Past NJ

recipients include the Bergenfield Public School District, Pathways for

Exceptional Children in Montville, Project Win-Win Youth Developmental

Clinic in Newark and the Garden State Discovery Museum's Center for Learning

in Cherry Hill.
