Guest guest
Hi list members. My 35 month old was recently diagnosed with verbal apraxia after receiving speech therapy for almost a year. The diagnosis was not really unexpected, but I still had hope my DS was just a late talker. He also has mild hypotonia, sensory issues and gait issues. Our pediatrician has finally given me a referral to a developmental pediatrician and I just found out we're going to Children's Hospital and Research Center of Oakland. I was wondering if anyone has taken their child to this hospital and was your experience good or bad? The drive will be a couple of hours for us and I was hoping to know what I should expect ahead of time. Thanks!
