Guest guest
Hi ! Usually people start with 1 Nordic Naturals ProEFA or Omega 3-6-9, then add another when your child progress starts to plateau. Finally add 1 Pro EPA. Check out www.speech411.com It is the Shop in Service for CHERAB. It has exactly what you need. Omega 3-6-9 is the same as NN Pro EFA (I believe one of them is a better deal...Omega 3-6-9 is what you typically find in most of the stores or other online stores). You can also get NN Omega 3-6-9 in a liquid form, but it's shelf life is shorter than the pills! I get it at www.vitacost.com Jenna Weil (mom to Larsyn 3.2 yo w/ severe verbal and oral apraxia, dyspraxia, hypotonia, sensory processing dysfunction and dysmorphic facial features AND Chance 5.9yo typical little boy!) > > Hi, > > This website has been very insightful and I'm so glad that I found it. I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. > > I just can't seem to figure what I am supposed to buy. I understand the ratio of 2 Nordic Naturals Pro EFA (Omega 369) to 1 Pro EPA, but I cannot find the right product to purchase. > > The Pro EFA and Omega 369 seem like two different products when I go to purchase them. When I found what I thought was right, it didn't say anything about being lemon flavor, which I need. > > Could someone please give me a link to the exact Nordic Naturals Pro EFA lemon flavor product that they use? I have no problem finding the PRO EPA. > > I would really appreciate your help! > > Thanks! >
Guest guest
Complete Omega 3-6-9 is the same thing as ProEFA. I used to order online, but since we moved I can occasionally find Complete Omega 3-6-9 at Vitamin Shoppe locally. I stock up when they have a sale. Here's the product: http://www.nordicnaturals.com/en/Products/Product_Details/98/?ProdID=1416 There is only one ProEFA product I believe. It's here: http://www.nordicnaturals.com/en/Products/Product_Details/98/?ProdID=1436 Here's the overview page and if you run your mouse over the product you can see how much of what is in it: http://www.nordicnaturals.com/en/General_Public/Product_Line/66/ You'll see Complete Omega 3-6-9 and ProEFA are the same. They both have the lemon on the right upper part of the label as well. Hope that helps. Miche
Guest guest
Always check the level of DHA, EPA, and GLA per one capsule when you buy even if you 'think' it's the same. Here's an archive and long discussion on this topic from our CHERAB Facebook group http://www.apraxia.org Fish Oils 101 http://www.facebook.com/lisa.geng#/topic.php?uid=115029735601 & topic=7401 =====
