Guest guest
I'm sorry - by fish oil I was meaning the ProEFA. I have squeezed 1 capsule in her orange juice every morning with her breakfast. I call it " brain food " she's 4 and seems to take it without any problems. It's been about 3 months and she is contiuosly " trying " to say more although most words are still not understandable. She can sound out all letters, but has trouble putting them in even simple words - like boo, bye, dog..etc. She has said about 3 sentences since starting her on the fish oil. That's more than promising for me to keep going ) [ ] If your child had an MRI, what did it show? > > > > > > I just went to an acupuncturist today and she said the first step in treatment is to get an MRI. If we end up doing this, I want to know if there would be any change in course because of it or are we basically at square one again. I can't afford expensive treatments like neurofeedback, so is there any sense in getting an MRI? > > > > > >
Guest guest
My daughter has apraxia and hypotonia. She had an MRI at 18 months and again at almost 3. Both came back insignificant. She has also had some genetic testing which has also come back normal. she is now 3 and progressing every day. -------------- Original message from " Maureen " <mosense@...>: -------------- My 7dd has had many MRI's for Hydrocephalus. they've never been ordered because of her Apraxia. If you find a good Ped Neuro--they can order an CT or MRI and it will be covered by insurance if the doctor orders it. Just talking to the Ped Neuro might get some answers without going thru that kind of testing. > > I just went to an acupuncturist today and she said the first step in treatment is to get an MRI.
