Guest guest
I don't know if anyone will have the answer for you. I think the answer will just present itself. I too worry about my son's future, will he ever have meaningful speech?? Is he going to be independent, etc. My son is on the autism spectrum and has apraxia. It has been one of the hardest things for me to deal with. We all love him and he is a beautiful very good boy, with limited verbal expression at this time, he will be 6 in September. He probably has 10 words, he knows thousands of words. I am not telling you not to worry, that would be dumb. We all worry about our children, and hope for the best. In life we all have to live with some uncertainty. You are doing everything you can to help your son and that is all that matters. It is hard to watch your child struggle with talking when so many people take it for granted. Just love him as much as you can and get him the appropriate therapy. No one has any guarantees in life about anything. Just try to be as supportive to your son, as I am sure you are and think positive thoughts. It will be OK. From one Mom to the other, I feel your frustration and anxiety. Jen **************Dell Inspiron 15 Laptop: Now in 6 vibrant colors! Shop Dell’s full line of laptops.
