Guest guest
My son is almost 4 and more and more aware of his difficulties. We didn't talk to him about it and I think maybe we should now, or we should have already. How do you talk to your preschoolers about their speech difficulties, how do you work on their self esteem? Guest guest
You are making me think I have to do this with my 6 year old! My 11 year old has always needed extra help in school and needed to be taught empathy, but I didn't even think of it yet for my other son. It is great when you talk to them because it shows you care and they want to know you are on their side. My 11 year old now thinks very highly of himself (most the time) even though he has difficulties. He knows his strengths and weaknesses and we encourage him to ask for help and communicate his feelings with people. I think this would be a wonderful thing to do with your child (and mine too!) > > My son is almost 4 and more and more aware of his difficulties.
