Guest guest
We're in NJ and wondering what types of services our child will be able to get. She's currently in a program for autistic children but is not ASD and will be leaving that program, and I'm wondering how that will affect the therapies she gets. She currently get speech 4x/week, OT twice a week and PT once a week. I can't imagine that would change but am wondering what other parents were able to get for their preschoolers. (As FYI, my DD, 3.5 years old, also gets PROMPT therapy and OT privately. We are seeing Agin next month for an official (we hope) apraxia diagnosis. We're with a great developmental pediatrician now who does not specialize in apraxia, which is why we are consulting with Dr. Agin.)
