Guest guest
THANKS for organizing this.??? What a great idea and I'm sure it was a lot of work so thank you!!!! Do you think on the pages where you say what to write you could actually type out a few suggested wordings for a letter???? I'm just suggesting this because I think if it doesn't take a lot of time for people they are more likely to email their government officials.???? I'd happily send this website?out to 75 or 100 people asking them to put in the request but I think if I sent them out there and they weren't as informed of the issues and had to come up with the wording they would be less likely to do it.?? If everyone on this group could forward the link to others that love their child we could really get a great response.?? I'd even bring it into my therapists office so she could give it to other parents. Some of the big company's that try and lobby for things with the government often have prewritten letters that you can just send from their sites.?? I'm sure that get's complicated but maybe if you put a few examples that people could paste into their message and just edit before sending you might get more people to participate? I'd be happy to help you if you tell me how I can. Thanks Sue [ ] Advocacy Anyone? Website Up! Hi everyone - I got a website up regarding advocating for mandatory health insurance coverage of Speech and Occupational Therapy for children ages 3-19 in hopes we can get this included in any upcoming Healthcare Reform Legislation. Check it out and let me know what you think: www.speechot-initiative.web.officelive.com Thanks for your support if interested! Diane
