Guest guest
Sure does you need to consider all angles IMHO AIT may belp a little, treating gut bugs may help a little, which could add up to helping alot, fingers crossed for you that it does. Over the years i've learnt that treating the gut must always come top of my list, but all our kids are different, this is just me and my experiences, hoping to help someone else through sharing them. Nikki :+)) > > Hi Nikki, > > does have some big gut issues which are always there but worsen from time to time. He has always had minor issues in relation to his ears but are much worse at the moment. I do think that it could be gut related too and as it is always there to some degree hope that some AIT might compliment the gut treatments. > > Does that make sense? > > Elaine > > _____ >
Guest guest
Hi Vicky, I was looking at another website this morning and they were suggesting that you use good quality walkman and use it in the car etc. that would maybe work for you the address is below. http://www.rmlearning.com/auditoryprocessing.htm#1 Elaine From: Autism Treatment [mailto:Autism Treatment ] On Behalf Of MaddiganV@... I'm also wondering can I put the discs in a walkman because is looking to walk around, he won't stay still. Is there any benefit to going to the place in London, can't remember the name. Also is having huge listening/hearing problems at the moment, he mishears everything, and is always saying " what " . Must get his ears tested but wondered if it may be connected to APD and standard hearing tests won't show anything. Vicky

After TLP he passed with flying colours and academically he started flying about 6 weeks or so after we did it. Will do it if you explain? Tell him he may make learning easier for him? At his age he needs to know whats in it for him I am looking to repeat with Sam so if you don;t get anywhere fast, maybe I can have the TLP back and send you the Speech and Language extension CD - just one disc - you use random tracks on that one - it develops the pathways in the brain in the same way. Anyways Let me know Mandi x

Treating Autism have included TLP provider training in the grant application which would allow us to get the discs for the library at a discount and give basic advice to folks borrowing it. Its going to be January now before we hear whether or not the application has been successful. You coud always start with one of the extension CD's, I htink I paid about £35 for that one, cheapo walkman and as good a headphone as you can afford - I paid £49 for ours I think way back when HTH Mandi x

Guest guest
Hi, Hartsoe is on this list as are many other suppliers of autism services, in order to inform people of what treaqtments are available. As in all areas of life, everyone needs to do their own investigations and due diligence if they want to use any providers services. If someone indeed is proven to be some type of scam, please let me know and I will ban them from this list. I do not see the problem with Mr. Hartsoe, I looked at the website you referenced and all I see is that he believes the hard chamber HBOT is the best. He is not the only doctor I have heard that from. Unless you have proof of something, you may mention your concerns in an email, but please don't use this list to continually argue a personal issue. This is not the place for that. Thanks List Moderator
Guest guest
Don't have any personal issue. But this is the only web group that I have ever been on that allows solicitations for paid services. These groups are supposed to be a haven away from that. Sharing personal experiences is different from plying your business and trolling for customers. That is usually the first rule of web group etiquette. I don't know him, never heard of him, don't know anyone who has but he is trying to solicit business and a personal agenda here. From his bio online it seems his personal experience is from CP. And after reading many years worth of personal testimony of clients from Magic Mountain with ASD kids and opinions from MD's and scientists posting remarks in regard to his claims, skepticism remains high. Happy to read posts here from parents who have used MM with permanent success. My only personal agenda is helping my ASD child, as should be the personal agenda of everyone here. Guest guest
Usually the mod would approve any solicitation and then it would be entered into a file on the home page for anyone interested Freeman <bkfree@...> wrote: >Don't have any personal issue. Guest guest
Yes this list is for sharing, but it's also to try and find help for our kids. If someone is able to inform or provide a service at a reasonable cost to people who might not be aware or able to access it otherwise, I see no problem here.
