what can I do at home to help with language delay

Hi all,

My son has a language delay. He will be three this week and not

speaking in sentences spontaneously. He gets speech x 2/wk and special

teacher x 2/wk - 45 mins each. He'll go to a special pre-school in the

Fall. I am not sure I am helping him enough at home. I have these

flash cards that I bought to try to improve his vocabulary. He gets

the words quickly but he doesn't use them in sentences. I've started

laying off the cards and am trying to talk to him more. Any ideas for

what specifically to do to help?
