Guest guest
Add to the list of movies to take a verbal disabled child to that shows that you don't need to be able to talk to live and have lots of friends is the Disney Pixar movie Wall-E. It's a brilliant animated film that is IMO the animated version of cast away. The fact that they did an almost 100% talk free animated children's movie in many ways makes it even more impressive. Standing ovation to all the humans behind Wall- E!!! http://disney.go.com/disneypictures/wall-e/ Still one of my favorites for verbal disabled children is the movie ie which is about a parrot named ie who loves his original owner - a little girl that stutters and helps teach her to talk...then ie is sent away and it's all about his life and how he lives it to try to find her again. It'll make you laugh and cry -and the speech therapy parts and the part where Hallie Kate Eisenberg dresses up ie as her fairy godmother and says " p p p please make me t t talk right " you'll so relate to!! http://www.casenet.com/movie/paulie.htm =====
