Guest guest
Heart of Sailing teaches sailing to special needs children as a form of recreational therapy. The charity was founded in 2004 by Saidah, a successful software entrepreneur who was motivated by his personal experience with a loved one with a cognitive disorder. A sailor for more than 35 years, Saidah dreamed of combining his love of the ocean with service to the community. Since retiring in 2005, Saidah devotes his time to developing Heart of Sailing to create a fun, educational and therapeutic opportunity for children with developmental disabilities. http://heartofsailing.org/default.asp

Guest guest
We're signed up for the NJ dates in August. theres no charge but a donation is strongly suggested! The site mentions what they normally charge for a family. I'll donate close to that--so they can continue to do such wonderful work for our kids! > > We've been doing this for a few years. is awesome! I guarantee > the whole family will have a great time. Guest guest
When they first started, there was no charge for anyone. Then they started charging for family members, but they would never turn anyone away for not being able to pay. However, I got an email from , the founder, this month, which included this: We are excited to share with you that our Daysails are now completely FREE to join. NO REGISTRATION FEES, or obligations, except to have a good time. Donations are always welcome, and will help us continue to offer our programs to everyone, regardless of their ability to contribute. Maybe he just hasn't updated the website yet. Of course, it's always nice to donate. I think in this economy, is trying to make sure that no one feels like they need to donate in order to sign up. He's such a great guy! You'll have a blast! **************An Excellent Credit Score is 750. See Yours in Just 2 Easy Steps! Guest guest
the website does say that its free...but pretty much says the same as what he sent you, that donations are welcome. the contact I've been emailing seemed to suggest I should be donating before we go that day! thanks for the info. > >> We are excited to share with you that our Daysails are now completely FREE > to join. Guest guest
Well, I think that's a way that many places run it. They have no " set " amount to be able to do it, but when they say " donations welcome " , I usually take that to mean to give a donation as you are going to go.
