Hello can I have some advice please

Hi Im new to the boards have struggled to find information on apraxia .

My son is 4 next month and now has dignois of sever Apraxia i have struggled

find anything in the uk all seem to be aimed at children with speech/sound

where my son has none at all mostly just squeals and grunts .He also has global

delay and is about 18 months -2 years behine also has hypertonia but they have

ruled out ASD.

We see speech therapist every 2-3 monhs and inbetween I work with him daily

trying to get him to move his tounge around so far with no succes also do face

massages and try get him to blow raspberries /bubbles and to pucker up for kiss

instead looking like going to bite you# >He does sign using makton and can put 2

signs together so heads of lot of frustration now but worry so much how hes

going to cope

But has anyone some more ideas what can do to help him as finding i feel very

alone with it all
