Guest guest
Hi all, My son has been participating in hippotherapy and therapeutic horseback riding since he was 4 years old, and it has made a huge difference in his life. In fact, his first volitional word was on horseback, and we haven't looked back since. Of course, the years of speech therapy, OT, etc, haven't hurt either. But riding has really helped him for whatever reason. If anyone has questions about the benefits, feel free to email me. Also, his instructor currently has openings for lessons. She has recently moved to a small, lovely ranch near Bonsall, in northern San Diego county. She is at the top level of NAHRA certification, and is in fact a committee chair of NAHRA. She has taught therapeutic riding for nearly 20 years. If interested, I can supply information. Thanks!
