Guest guest Posted November 21, 2008 Report Share Posted November 21, 2008 When I took my son to the DAN doctor the other day, she said that he doesn't need a PROMPT trained speech therapist because that is only for child who aren't speaking at all. Is that correct? I thought a PROMPT trained SLP is what is recommended for children with apraxia. (My little guy is 9.5 years old and started speaking in sentences this past May or June).
