Guest guest
Hi all, Just thought I'd share this story...a few days ago I saw a woman we hadn't seen in about a year, and I was telling her about our son's recently diagnosed apraxia. She immediately said how familiar she is with apraxia because her own son had it (he also had fine motor issues and auditory processing problems.) He's now in his early 20s, in college, and is doing wonderfully! Back then, she knew no one else with apraxia (this was, as she put it, in the " pre-Internet days " ). I was very encouraged by hearing this success story about apraxia and how everything worked out for so well for her son, so I figured I'd pass it along. Hopefully it will give you all the same encouragement it did for me! B.
