Guest guest
I don't know if it has been narrowed down to any. My 8 year old has dyslexia- are you looking for biomedical interventions to try with dyslexia? Guest guest
I think " dyslexia " could have both metabolic and " mis-learning " causes. I read of an experiment at Boston Children's Hospital where a group of dyslexic children, about age 10, played with a computer game that exercised parts of their brain involved in speech that those children seemed to have not learned to use. After several weeks the dyslexics scored much better. Their brain scans showed that the under-used speech areas had started to become more used. Metabolically... I can imagine all the possible digestion/immune/neurotransmitter problems of autism being factors, to a low degree, in some cases of dyslexia.
