Guest guest
Hi- I didn't see Tamara's full email address- I know about the schools and dyslexia. I hope I can be of some help. My son has dyslexia and I have been through all of the %$#@* and know how important it is to help other parents going through this. Feel free to contact me, Iveta lucy2max@... > > Do you know of anyone who is familiar with Dyslexia and has resources for NJ? My 6 year old daughter will need a tester/tutor who specializes in dyslexia or an Orton Gillingham approach. PLEASE! I need help. Her last school did her a HUGE disservice. They knew NOTHING of her issue and she showed ZERO progress. They punished her more than they helped her. I need help. She'll be transferring into 1st grade at a public school this year and I'm afraid they may not be any better but we cannot afford private school anymore. > > > Thank you in advance! > > > Tamara Wyatt > visionkeys@... > > >
Guest guest
The Barton Reading & Spelling System is an Orton-Gillingham based approach to dyslexia. I've tutored my Apraxic daughter with it and it's not only great for reading, but also for spelling. You can find out more about the program and a tutor at: http://www.bartonreading.com/index.html I've met Barton and taken one of her seminars. She is dedicated to helping children. If you have any questions about the program, don't hesitate to call her office. She is very sincere. Lysa > > Do you know of anyone who is familiar with Dyslexia and has resources for NJ?
