Guest guest
If one was to try percutaneous transmission of the fish oils I would NOT use actual fish oils. Poor little thing walking around smelling like rotten fish?!! And OMG you get fish oils on fabric- any fabric it takes THREE good washes to get the smell out. What about couches, beds? Eeeeek! Can't throw those in the machine or wash easily!! Besides, I highly doubt the effect would be good enough to see the surges we are seeing anyway in my opinion unless a specific patch was developed, an idea which I threw out here ten years ago. Bottom line is if your child had the flu and needed to take medicine even if he HATED the taste -you'd find a way to get it into him. Yes be creative- but don't underestimate the importance of the essential fatty acids like fish oils- or the essential amino acids like nutriiveda http://pursuitofresearch.org/science.html Here are some creative ways I found to help get fish oils into my boys- mainly Tanner as Dakota learned to swallow capsules much younger http://www.cherabfoundation.org/2006/how-do-i-get-my-child-to-eat-fish-oil And PS- here's one time the Jr capsules are better- for teaching your child how to swallow capsules when older. Then they are worth the twice as expensive price tag. =====
Guest guest
Thanks . Actually now he doesn't seem to mind it mixed in his milk, so now it is no problem. I didn't think about the odor or the greasiness of it. I haven't seen huge " surges " yet, but occasionally he will try a new sound or word. The thing that gets me is that he often won't repeat that word ever again. His diet is very limited, so I ordered the nutriiveda. How long does it usually take to arrive? I think I placed the order on May 14th, and it hasn't arrived yet. I guess I am just anxious to try it. Thanks for all you do for this group.
