Guest guest
We recently had my son tested for food sensitivities (through a company called ImuPro)and it revealed that he had 71... so, we took the grains out (except rice and corn) two weeks ago and we will do it for at least a year. Just read McCarthy's book Mother Warriors and was blown away... more ideas to try! My son doesn't have the autistic symptoms, but since apraxia and autism are both neurologic disorders, it seems only reasonable to try some of the same therapies! So... while we already have altered the diet, we are planning to do some more changes. I am hopeful as he has already made some progress in the two weeks. In any case, HAVE ANY OF YOU GONE TO A DAN DOCTOR for help? And, if so, what types of tests were done to check for " gut " issues? BACKGROUND DETAILS: my almost 3 year old so NEVER had words... only a complicated raspberry-type sound since he was a baby until " mamamamam " several months ago and then we just got more clear words and word approximations (boy, baby, go-go-go, bye-bye, to name a few)after a chance cranial sacral appt (my friend introduced me to the therapy and paid for the first visit!) Thank you!
