Guest guest
My family is considering moving to NYC or a nearby town -- one child (3 years old) has special needs and the other child (5 years old) is neurotypical. We're looking for schools that have a good special ed program and a good regular ed program. I've heard that if you live in NYC or Westchester, it is easier to obtain therapies for special needs children (sometimes at home) -- is this true? Can anyone explain how one obtains services in these areas? I'm looking for any recommendations and personal experiences that you can share. Thank you.
