Guest guest
Hi Debra, All the amino acids listed on the canister are naturally occurring from whole food -not added. If carnitine is not listed it's my understanding it's not there -but will check. The only form of nutrient I believe would be the L form because again it's all from whole food/naturally occurring. I again will check on that as well as the following -I don't know if the following is accurate as I found it listed for whey isolate protein but don't want to list the source because it didn't look reputable- but it still could be. It is interesting to note that it is very hard to find any list of amounts of amino acids in whey isolate protein in general -but again that could be because it depends on so many variables. So due to the above again don't know if the amounts of amino acids including all the essential amino acids are for any whey isolate protein as they vary greatly. So-in the following which is NOT from anywhere I can find for nutriiveda, this is just a possibility rather than a probability -will see if I can find out more. It is possible the answer is that it's hard to know for sure the exact amount from scoop to scoop as again these are all naturally occurring from the protein. Per 2 scoops Alanine................................563mg Arginine...............................794mg Aspartic Acid......................1294mg Cystine..................................75mg Glutamine Acid..................3989mg Glycine................................388mg Histidine..............................574mg Isoleucine (BCAA)...............893mg Leucine (BCAA)................1747mg Lysine...............................1444mg Methionine..........................564mg Phenylalanine.....................957mg Proline................................1970mg Serine.................................1188mg Thereonine.........................807mg Tryptophan........................225mg Tyrosine.............................1132mg Valine (BCAA)...................1069mg (note Branched chain amino acids (BCAA) are essential amino acids whose carbon structure is marked by a branch point. The BCAA are valine, isoleucine and leucine. These three amino acids are critical to human life and are particularly involved in stress, energy and muscle metabolism) And also from Wikipedia so please don't use as fact -just a possible truth: " Estimating the daily requirement for the indispensable amino acids has proven to be difficult; these numbers have undergone considerable revision over the last 20 years. The following table lists the WHO recommended daily amounts currently in use for essential amino acids in adult humans, together with their standard one-letter abbreviations " Amino acid(s) mg per kg body weight mg per 70 kg mg per 100 kg I Isoleucine 20 1400 2000 L Leucine 39 2730 3900 K Lysine 30 2100 3000 M Methionine + C Cysteine 10.4 + 4.1 (15 total) 1050 1500 F Phenylalanine + Y Tyrosine 25 (total) 1750 2500 T Threonine 15 1050 1500 W Tryptophan 4 280 400 V Valine 26 1820 2600 The recommended daily intakes for children aged three years and older is 10% to 20% higher than adult levels and those for infants can be as much as 150% higher in the first year of life. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Essential_amino_acid#Recommended_daily_amounts So according to the above -the younger the child =the more amino acids including all the essential amino acids are needed. Interesting. Will let you know when I find out more. Here again is the nutritional information page which is for whole food source nutriiveda http://pursuitofresearch.org/ingredients.html =====
Guest guest
Thanks ! Yes, if you have any more info. regarding the carnitine content & proteins, that would be great. I'm glad our dr. is interested and working with me on this and it will relate it to our lab findings/supplements. Or maybe you can direct me to who would know at NutriiVeda headquarters?? I'm hoping to go in to our next appt. prepared. My kids really like the taste of N.V. So easy in the AM before school (to hide probiotics in especially.) Thanks! > > Hi Debra, > > All the amino acids listed on the canister are naturally occurring from whole food -not added.
