Guest guest
You need to call the Legal Aid Society if you do not or cannot afford an attorney. Bipolar disorder is treatable with medication. I hope you can get your son back. I have gone back to school online and I am in my 50's. If you do not have a college education it is one thing you should consider. You can get many degrees online now. Has there been any legal action? Does your husband have legal custody? Call a lawyer today. Charlotte Henry

Will try to keep this short..... My sons father has been diagnosed with bipolar. My son is 4, and has started rec. speech services. I have left his father (abusive relationship) He took our son and wont allow me to see him. He is not taking him to speech and I dont believe he plans on taking him to preschool so he can receive further services. I do not have money for an attorney, could work out a payment plan. I have a letter from sons ped. who recommends son be in my care, due to the obvious. I need to get an emergency custody order filed ASAP. Anyone know of any place I might get assistance. His doctor is trying to help me with a legal aid who gets involved with special education but I think I will find out they cant help in the end because it does boil down to custody. He is right now on a level of a 19 month old and if he doesnt receive his services he is not going to progress and more than likely regress. Please if anyone knows of a way I can help my son, reach out. Thank you in advance!
