" For me, learning to communicate did mean regaining all the rest. " Our insurance has denied my son twice for speech therapy since his lack of speech is not due to trauma or injury. He is so far behind in speech compared to other 4 year olds. If only insurance companies would realize the ramifications can be great if children are not able to communicate with others.
