Flutie Foundation to help their clients pursue athletic endeavors as a way

to gain social skills. With the Flutie grant money and MDS support, Mount

Sunapee was willing to open their weekend competition program to include

Abel, a then 8-year-old boy with ASD. Although that first year was

tough, the coaches were willing to learn how to " do social skills, " to keep

in the program.
