A Message from ASPEN of Bergen County:

ASPEN's Monthly Meeting Location, Day of the Week and Time have All Changed

We want to tell you about some major changes in the running of our chapter.

We have changed our MEETING PLACE, our MEETING DATE, and the TIME we meet.

We are very appreciative of the hospitality we received from the Lutheran

Church of the Good Shepherd in Glen Rock over the years. However, we have

found a new location which we believe better meets our needs.

Starting on Wednesday, September 16th, we will be meeting at CAPE

(Collaboration. Access. Planning. Education.) located at: 327 East

Ridgewood Avenue, 2nd floor, in Paramus. Driving directions are on

www.aspennj.org. We have changed the date we meet. We will now meet the

3rd Wednesday of each month. Since our meetings used to end very late, we

moved up the meeting time to 7:00 PM; meetings will now conclude at 9:30 PM.

2009 Dates 2010 Dates

September 16 January 20 April 21

October 21* February 17 May 19

November 18 March 17 June 16

December 16

We will also try re-instituting some daytime meetings to accommodate people

who prefer daytime meetings. If they are well attended, we will continue

them. Our first daytime meeting will be on October 21 from 10 AM - 12 PM.

Fathers' Group Meeting: New Location at CAPE in Paramus and New Dates

The ASPEN Fathers' Group has changed their meeting date and location. The

group will meet at CAPE on the 4th Tuesday of each month from 7:30

PM-10:00PM. (Note - when there are 5 Tuesdays in a month, the group will

still meet on the 4th Tuesday.) The first meeting will be held on Tuesday,

September 22nd led by Varrassi MA, Educational Consultant and

Learning Disabilities Specialist.

2009 Dates 2010 Dates

September 22 January 26 April 27

October 27 February 23 May 25

November 24 March 23 June 22

ASPEN members in Bergen County should have received the annual ASPEN Bergen

newsletter in the mail, which includes additional detail on the meetings and

other valuable information. If you are not a current member, please visit

www.aspennj.org to download a membership application.
