Guest guest
We started our son (just turned 3 last month) on NV just about one month ago exactly. We've definitely noticed a surge in not just his speech, but also in other areas. With his speech, he's now finishing common phrases of his that he couldn't articulate before (e.g., " ah done " instead of " ah duh " ), and he can now say Mommy and Daddy, instead of just Mama and Dada. Other sounds are just a little more clear too. In other areas, just in the past couple days he's learning to jump! My husband and I both did a double take and just stared at him as we watched him jump up and down (with both feet off the floor at the same time) several times in a row! That's huge for him! AND, just yesterday, he pedalled his tricycle for the first time ever! And those two skills happened without me directly working on them with him. And his sense of humor is really getting sharp. He's always had a quick wit, but it's getting even sharper if that makes any sense. My dad babysat him for me yesterday by himself for the first time in a while. He commented later to my mom about how funny JJ is! He had no idea LOL! ;o)
