Tricia lots of us see surges in as soon as a day for some reason with

nutriiveda- but typically not on a half dosage which you must be using if you

are only giving him a 1/2 scoop (or are you using a 1/2 scoop 2 X a day)

Liralen also has seen dramatic surges in her son on a half dosage and we hear

about it a few times -but typically the dosages should be the ones suggested

here http://pursuitofresearch.org/faq.html and this is for info to take to the

pediatrician http://pursuitofresearch.org/NutriiVeda_Information.pdf

The most " no way is that a coincidence " one day change would be Ketchum

-because she was 25 years old when she first started nutriiveda- and had been

through decades of therapies, doctors, medications, placements with as her mom

Robin saya one step forward and one step back type of results. Have you read

her blog?? Here are the first few days on nutriiveda for Mel

http://littlemermaidmelanie.wordpress.com/category/week-one

And Sunday to Thursday -that's 4 days -very normal to see surges quick.

There are to me only two logical explanations to explain the almost across the

board changes we are seeing in so many children, teens and adults with so many

conditions...either less logical -group hypnosis, or more logical is that

nutriiveda which is just whole food nutrition is supplying something vital,

either a trace element, or synergistic blend of elements, to provide the body

with what is missing. Listen the fact that you can go block to block in NJ and

find an apraxic child is questioned as hard to believe too. Something has

created this rise in a condition that was previously unheard of and rare.

So why wouldn't it be logical that what's helping our children is something that

perhaps has been stripped from the soils- lacking in foods today etc. I have my

theories on why it's working on this page with some of the doctor theories

http://pursuitofresearch.org/science.html If your child was the only one that

surged in days I'd agree with your husband- total coincidence would be most

logical. But the survey shows (feel like this is Family Feud now!) that

nutriiveda is showing results in 9 out of 10 homes.

There is just one page of testimonies here

http://pursuitofresearch.org/testimonials.html

The best way to prove it's nutriiveda is to stop giving it to your child -and I

would do that sooner rather than later because I'm convinced the longer they are

on it the less they will regress -I honestly have no doubt it is helping the

brain to repair itself somehow.

And as far as just a few other testimonies to report surges from a day or a few

days:

NV Update...

Okay, I know I posted this yesterday, but I can't find it on the board...hope

this one goes through...

Let me start off by saying my daughter is 4, has been in Speech since she was DX

with apraxia at 2ish. She is currently making leaps and bounds on her own (is

taking fish oil) so I was nervous starting it because she is having surges right

now.

I got my NV on Tuesday evening. I decided to start it on Wednesday. I gave my 4

yr old (will be 5 in June) 1 scoop in some milk and ice cream in the

morning...She HATED it! I got about 3/4 of it in her. At night, I made some

yummy chocolate pudding (you know, the box kind you mix with milk!), I set aside

some for her and mixed it with another scoop, then let it set. She gobbled it

down!! Couldn't even tell it was in there! This morning I mixed it with

chocolate milk, she didn't like it, still made her drink it! Then again at night

with pudding, again, she ate all of it...not sure how long the pudding thing

will last though.

I made myself a shake yesterday in the morning with water, tap water at that,

and BLECH...it was gross...BUT...it tastes just like a whey protein shake, so

there!! Today I made me one with 1% milk and it was much better. I may mix it

with a banana and I've done with other protein shakes in the past and it's quite

good!

For the shocker...today I picked my dd from preschool (just your typical

preschool, no bells and whistles, certainly not a specialized preschool) and her

teacher puts her in. She starts off by saying " Tori had a fabulous day today,

best day she's ever had...she was focused, payed attention, just a really,

really great day...until just now when a little boy was touching her and she

turned around and choked him " Not funny, but funny at the same time because Tori

then looked at me and said " do not talk to me about that, okay, I know to use my

words and to tell him to stop touching me " !!!! This from the girl with sensory

issues who touches every and anything she comes across! Anyway, her teacher

repeats what she said before about what a fantastic day she's had so focused,

etc...I'm floored...she's only had 1.5 doses the .5 being this morning...One of

the main reasons I wanted to try it was because I was worried about her " lack of

focus " !! This evening we went for a walk around the lake and OH MY GOODNESS, she

wouldn't stop talking...she noticed EVERYTHING about every single house we

passed, she was talking about this person being that person's neighbor and how

that person has 2 neighbors, one right there and one right there...hey, look at

that playset, I don't have a playset like that, mine doesn't have a yellow thing

that goes down...hey look at that duck, he splashed in the water

(giggle, giggle), oh, there's a bridge we're about to go over and on and on and

on!!! Really hoping it works on her articulation because that's our biggest

issue.

I did record her last night, so if anyone has any suggestions on how I can

upload that or to where, let me know...I would love to share her from last

night!!!

25month old son on NutriiVeda update

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to give you all an update on my 25 month old son Diagnosed with CAS.

My son started on the NN fish oils when he was 20 months old with a small surge

in soft vowel production. (He previously had no words and made very few sound

other than grunting and pointing.) He also started Speech therapy with a

private speech therapist once a week at that time (because EI did not have a

speech therapist available and still doesn't.) He began using " B, " " M, " and " P "

consonants with soft vowels at around 23months but he had no words and was not

mimicking any sounds. At 24 months he did start to pick up some animal sound

approximations " ba and moo " and was able to say " moe " for more. We had his 6

month re-evaluation (through EI) in the middle of January. They evaluated his

expressive language to be at 12 months and increased his therapy to twice a

week. (He has no other delays.) He does have some hypotonia in his lower lip

and tongue.

After careful consideration and the " OK " from his pediatrician, I started our

24 and month old son on Nutriiveda on February 1st. It has been two weeks

and

we have seen him go from 1-2 word approximations to well over 50 word

approximations! He will try to mimic anything I ask him too. He even has some

two word approximations: " la oo " for love you! He can make all consonant

sounds now except for " j, t, d, and s. " I did not tell his speech therapist

when I started him and she could not believe the difference! She said he was

mimicking and trying any word she asked! I can now get him to mimic whole

sentences: I will say one word at a time and he will repeat it. He will say " I

- wan - moe - ruck - pees " for I want more truck please. He has many more

spontaneous approximations as well. He can even say some words spontaneously

and perfectly: " pop, happy, me, my, mama, baby, go, up, yeah, wee, uh-oh " and I

am sure there are a few more that I am not thinking of right now. He will even

sing along with his new CD aimed at children with CAS " Drills on Wheels! " So it

has been about a month now since he was evaluated to be 12 months expressively

and I took him to Chicago to see a Developmental Pediatrician (to get a formal

diagnoses) on Friday. There was a speech therapist, a developmental therapist,

an occupational therapist, a child psychiatrist, and the Pediatrician in the

room for his evaluation. They determined that his expressive speech is now at a

21 month level! That means he went from a 12 month level to a 21 month level in

less than a month (and two weeks on the Nutriiveda!) We were amazed and so was

the group that evaluated him! I did bring a label and some of our group's

information to let them know about the Nutriiveda, but they pretty much

dismissed that it could be the Nutriiveda. They told us to keep doing " whatever "

we were doing. I believe differently of course!

I can't say that there have been many other noticeable changes in my son, but

he has never had any behavioral problems and he has always been very social. I

do think he focuses a little better during his speech therapy sessions but other

than that, I haven't noticed any other changes. (As if the speech wasn't

enough!)

So, thank you for bringing this wonderful product to our group and I hope

that all of you see as many great changes in your children as we have seen in

the last few weeks!

Sincerely,

First few days on Nutriiveda for autistic grandson

Day 3 on Nutriveda

We only started our grandson on Nutriveda this past Saturday with 1/2 a scoop

and since he seemed to be fine with it we bumped him up to a full scoop on

Sunday and today. I could not wait to send this email to the group because I

could hardly contain my excitement. Our 3 1/2 year old grandson was diagnosed

with Autism and Apraxia when he was just 18 months old. He is currently non

verbal and has received just about every therapy you could name over the last

year with very small amounts of slow and steady improvement. I would categorize

him unfortunately as a non responder until Nutriveda came into our lives.

Although we haven't heard any new sounds or words yet his sense of awareness,

cognition and disposition is undeniably greatly improved in just a few days.

Just today he started playing with toys he has never touched before, eye contact

is great and he has started to imitate things in his cartoons. I am keeping my

fingers crossed and praying this is going to be a big WOW for us since we have

yet to find anything to date to give us the feeling that we might be on the

right track. I am so grateful to this group and I promise to continue to keep

everyone up dated on our journey.

Day 5 on Nutriveda

WOW my daughter and I could hardly believe what we witnessed today. My grandson

for the first time ever was able to steer his bike for approximately 2 city

blocks. He just started to pedal ever so slowly about a week or so ago and we

were so happy with that and figured the steering may not come for many months if

at all.....but today he suddenly started to steer the bike away from the grassy

edges of the path and kept the bike going straight. Thank GOD my daughter had

her flip video camera with her so she video taped 3 minutes of this amazing bike

ride. Thank you everyone for sharing your experiences with Nutriveda and if

there is one think I am sure of now is NEVER GIVE UP HOPE.

My son responded very quickly to half a dose, really in about 3 days I was

noticing differences in pronunciation and then I took him off for a few days for

an evaluation and within 24 hours he was much harder to understand. He's been

on it 4 or 5 weeks now and still is at half a dose. I do have to use a medicine

dropper and chase it with juice as he refuses any food with NV mixed in. In this

past month he has 100% potty trained (digestion normalized), sleeps through the

night for the first time in his life, dances, sings, plays imaginatively, went

from 2-3 word sentences to 4-6 word sentences, completely lost his

unintelligible babble. He also gained 2 lbs in 3 weeks (he's terribly picky and

very thin and small) This past weekend I just thought that I would take a break

from making him take NV...so none for Sat and Sun. On Monday instead of talking

he would say a stream of babble with one or two words interspersed. His

digestion reverted to not so regular. he stopped sleeping through the night

(which I expected) All day Monday he'd babble and I couldn't understand a thing

and my stomach clenched with anxiety. It's hard to lose that connection with

your child once you have it. It took til today for him to regain articulation

and completely lose that babble language.

He also responded very quickly to fish oils, within three days he went from 10

words, grunting and refusing to mimic sounds or words to learning 10 word

approximations a day. When I took him off for a few days, he didn't regress like

he did with NV, but he didn't gain any ground either.

either way, both the fish oils and the NV are giving him something he's not

getting in his food. And it is something his brain, body and nerves really

need.

Liralen,

That is amazing & awesome! BUT not unlike what I have seen with the kids in my

practice that are on NV.

I was in a mtg today about one of my clients & the school commented about " how

much more social xx has been lately! " . I asked them when they noticed these

changes & they commented that they were in the past 2 months. Interestingly,

this is the since this child has been on NV. Hmmmm...

These positive observations are true w/ my other clients who are on NV too.

Warmest wishes,

I know...we have a play group and for the first time this week he actually

played with and interacted with a little boy a year older than him. We've been

going to this group since he was a newborn and it was the first time he hadn't

hit to initiate play or went away from the group to play by himself. It made me

feel so proud.

He still is super picky, but I don't feel as stressed about it, b/c he's looking

healthier, put on some weight. He still doesn't try new foods, but if we insist

on a tiny taste, it no longer is a two hour battle.

Liralen

> > >

nutriiveda- but typically not on a half dosage which you must be using if you

are only giving him a 1/2 scoop (or are you using a 1/2 scoop 2 X a day) Liralen

also has seen dramatic surges in her son on a half dosage and we hear about it a

few times -but typically the dosages should be the ones suggested here

http://pursuitofresearch.org/faq.html and this is for info to take to the

pediatrician http://pursuitofresearch.org/NutriiVeda_Information.pdf

Ketchum -because she was 25 years old when she first started nutriiveda- and had

her blog?? Here are the first few days on nutriiveda for Mel

> > >

> > > There are to me only two logical explanations to explain the almost across

the board changes we are seeing in so many children, teens and adults with so

many conditions...either less logical -group hypnosis, or more logical is that

nutriiveda which is just whole food nutrition is supplying something vital,

either a trace element, or synergistic blend of elements, to provide the body

with what is missing. Listen the fact that you can go block to block in NJ and

find an apraxic child is questioned as hard to believe too. Something has

created this rise in a condition that was previously unheard of and rare.

> > >

> > > So why wouldn't it be logical that what's helping our children is

something that perhaps has been stripped from the soils- lacking in foods today

etc. I have my theories on why it's working on this page with some of the doctor

theories http://pursuitofresearch.org/science.html If your child was the only

one that surged in days I'd agree with your husband- total coincidence would be

most logical. But the survey shows (feel like this is Family Feud now!) that

nutriiveda is showing results in 9 out of 10 homes.

they are on it the less they will regress -I honestly have no doubt it is

helping the brain to repair itself somehow.

We started my son on NV almost exactly a month ago, and we also noticed changes

within a few days time. Nothing that might be noticable to those outside our

family, but my husband and I definitely noticed a surge. After all our issues

with food allergies and developmental delays and the apraxia, I'm totally

convinced that food plays more of a role in helping (or hurting) our bodies than

anyone is even remotely aware of at this point.

>

> Hi, we started " offically " giving my son 1/2 scoop of Nutriiveda on Sunday and

I am not sure if its in my mind or what. But he has been saying words more

clearly, using a few new words and trying to mimic other words we say. My

skeptic husband thinks its just a " normal " surge and that even if it was the NV

we wouldnt see it this fast. Is this in my head or has anyone else seen surges

this fast? Now when i say he is speaking more clearly, and attempting more

words, its not like the way I speak but its a lot better and more clear then the

way he usually speaks. He is diagnosed Apraxic. I just posted as well about

adding fish oil with the NV and if he is taking off this quickly with just the

NV then I really cant wait to see how he does with both!!!
