What great news you must be thrilled I read on

http://pursuitofresearch.org/testimonials.html that some children have started

riding bikes. My son still can't did you notice anything in this area? What

flavor did you use and does it make a difference?

> Hi Everyone, My children have had an incredible week! First off, my son

will be off his seizure medication Tegretol in 3 weeks! He has been on

this med. for 9 years. I am thrilled for him to be off of medication since I am

not a BIG fan of any meds. and their host of side effects. This week he went on

a school field trip to Atlantis Marine World in Riverhead. He was with his

teacher and speech therapist most of time. They were ecstatic that he was

talking the whole day, saying " what's that " and pointing, " come over here " " where

we going " . He even responded to something that was said over the loud

speaker!!Also they had their Special Olympic horsebackriding lesson yesterday

and it was the first day that the instructor was teaching them left and right

turns. Well, Lily was pulling on the correct reins when the instructor called

out and I didn't even know that she knew her left from her right!! did

this as well! They have been on Nutriiveda since February and it's not that I

see something new every day but it's consistent and they are definitely

changing. We are even seeing improvements in the toileting area which is HUGE

(you saw how old they are) in cooperation and success. My daughter had a

terrible sleep issue last year and it lasted about 8 months, she was waking up

to 5 times a night, we were sleeping in there, it was a nightmare, finally her

neuro. dr. put her on Clonidine, which is a blood pressure med. that they use on

kids because 1. they don't like to use sedatives on kids and 2. the main side

effect is sleep. So we did that and behavioral. Well, we got her to the point of

only waking up 1 time a night and this lasted for a couple of months, so I told

the Dr. that I wanted her off the Clonidine,(he said that her sleep pattern was

readjusted now)and I was just going to accept the fact that she (and I) would be

waking up every night. Well guess what, back in February when she started

Nutriiveda, she slept through the night after being on it 1 DAY!!! My husband and

I were in shock, she is still sleeping through the night.I want all to know that

this is something to just give it a try, Its just FOOD, probably the healthiest

food your children or you can consume thats available. It's incredible stuff. If

anyone wants to speak to me directly my number is 631-447-0615 or daffy4@...

Dawn Falley's Update on (14) and Lily (10)

Hi, Yes it was me on the phone, I was very impressed with those words he

was able to spell!

Just wanted everyone to know that my son is going on 4 months now off

his seizure meds. Thank you NV!!

Also, the other day my daughter Lilymarie was coloring and I asked her whats her

favorite color and she just came out with " burple " Totally new word for her!

Also tonight she said " Tanta " , we were watching Polar Express and also something

happened to the DVD and the picture stopped so I said " Oh its stuck " and she

said " It Stu " She's on a little bit of a roll this week. Can't wait to hear what

else she has to say! Have a GREAT HOLIDAY SEASON TO ALL!

> Just wanted to share a quick update on Tanner who continues to amaze us.

One..and maybe this is something some wouldn't think is a big deal -but Tanner

now enjoys watching Jon Steward and Colbert- Dakota and I used to watch

the shows and when we laughed Tanner used to say " it's not even funny " The

humor used to be over his head. The conversations we have now- it's just

amazing. He looks up current news himself and discusses it with me.

>

> So this one I know all can relate to. Today I was on the phone with one of

the parents from this group (Dawn was it you or was it you Ginny??? and BTW both

of these mom have amazing updates too!!) and Tanner gets into the car and hands

me his spelling test with a perfect score. But this was the thing -I never

studied with him -had no idea he was going to have a test...and some of these

words I would have spelled wrong!

him. He now does all his work himself, and pretty much it's been like that

since he's been on NV which is now just over one year...YAY NV!!! BTW the new

site is just about done -please add your input -we love constructive criticism!
