Guest guest
I can relate to this post. I have been taking Lexapro for the last (4) months for anxiety and panic attacks. I feel better than I have in the last 15 years. I went through the usual side effects (lethargy, sleeping more frequently, and others), however after 2 or 3 months of taking it I am laughing and enjoying life again. Family and friends are starting to notice and wonder if I’m on “happy pills” LOL. JG singlewyde <singlewyde@...> wrote: Hello. My name is and I have been on Lexapro since August of 06. I knew that I had a problem " upstairs " but I didn't know what to do about it. I had just started getting insurance at my work when I went to my regular doctor and asked for help in quitting smoking. She prescribed Wellbutrin and although that took away the cravings for the cigarettes, it didn't help for the anxiety. When I went back to her for my check up, I let her know that I was having some problems coping with the smoking thing. Maybe she knew from the look on my face that was something wrong but she asked me a few questions and wrote a scrip for Lex. Lex is now my best friend. I have to stay on Wellbutrin to handle the depression, but now I am on Lexapro and I actully feel better than I ever have. I smile, I laugh and I love. I beg everyone that thinks they may have " issues " , please talk to a healthcare professional. Lexapro may not be the answer to your prayers but I guarantee you that something in your life will change. Take care of yourself! You are, after all, ALL you have in the end. One was too lonely a number for me. I joined my friends in living a better life. Good luck,

Guest guest
Thanks (Geng) for listening to me, helping me out, and basically being there for me for the past week. I'm glad that you are always there when it comes to someone to help us parents advocate for our children, especially when we haven't crossed the bridges that you have already while advocating for your own son. I just really wanted to let you know that I appreciate all the things you do for not only my child, but for all the things that you are trying to accomplish for children with apraxia in general. Now, I hope I caught you before you changed your phone number ~Cassandra
