Dr. Jeanne Marron, a Clinical Director at the West Bergen Center will speak

to the group about " How to Speak to Your Child with Special Need(s) About

His/Her Special Need(s). " Whether you have an older child who you are

teaching to advocate for him/herself, an Elementary School age child who is

asking important " why " questions, or a younger child who is encountering

attention for other kids for the first time, this topic is important to all

parents of children with special needs. This topic was chosen by the parents

of our group at our first meeting. Dr. Marron will leave time at the end for

comments and discussion. While she will keep her comments broad, Dr. Marron

is an expert in the field of spectrum disorders.
