Guest guest
I know she's not here to check every day either but you should email about your child. Her grandson like your child first showed surges in social, eye contact, motor skills etc. but not in speech. Last I spoke to her (and she said she was going to update here) her grandson just started speaking and is amazing everyone with how well he is doing. Prior to nutriiveda her grandson was a nonresponder to everything the Dan tried- and he too is shocked by the progress. told me her Dan said " Can you imagine that after the millions and millions of dollars spent on research the answer lies in something this simple? " In addition to the areas of surges you are seeing -have you also noticed a difference in his elimination (amount, frequency) I know in one message you said they were softer and he used to be constipated frequently -is that now resolved? Tanner has never been so regular before in his life!! Also have you weighed and measured height? Check for growth spurts as well on this because that's an area I don't point out enough but this stuff appears to be like a child " Miracle-gro " or something! And as I always point out to Robin who in spite of the AMAZING surges in Mel she too wants more and quicker -we have to remember that we need time for the body to do what it's going to do. We are providing nutrients that are somehow helping the body to help itself -but things don't happen all at once in regards to neurological repair. There may be reasons for sudden dramatic surges that the majority of us are reporting -but there are surges that continue to happen that are not so dramatic but still incredible. Some have discontinued nutriiveda after the initial surges thinking it was no longer working only to witness a regression. There is a great explanation by Gretchen who is a parent and research scientist about why to appreciate the little surges on nutriiveda as well http://pursuitofresearch.org/science.html It seems those of us who just use nutriiveda and fish oils have the most dramatic surges but perhaps that's only because there are more of us? It does seem to be too often that those who report not as much progress are those that continue with a number of other supplements, digestive enzymes, probiotics. Like anything, when we add food or drink to the body we are adding nutrients which create chemical reactions -we don't know what other things we are adding which can contradict nutriiveda -but as I've said many times it appears nutriiveda as simple as it is replaces the need to add all the other things. I mean just look at what's in it from whole food sources? And if you spoke with the numerous medical doctors behind this http://pursuitofresearch.org/advisors.html this product was being worked on for a long time and based on hundreds of clinical studies -formulated to work together with the body in a synergistic way. I can tell you for a fact that yes fish oils appear to compliment it. So perhaps that's it -you may not be using the ProEFA or ProEFA/ProEPA the majority of us use. If you don't use them -Eye Q is excellent and comparable -and Coromega is great as a pure Omega 3 but missing the GLA (so you can add a drop of primrose or borage seed oil to it?) The one thing that stood out to me from one of your prior messages is that you stated are using two tablespoons a day? I never checked but does 2 tablespoons equal one scoop? By now you probably did find the scoop in the canister as sometimes it is hidden -but you are using one full or even heaping scoop a day right? I would not add extra vitamin e or anything else that is not medical necessary. You may however want to check with and find out the dosage of nutriiveda her 3 YO grandson is now on because even though I don't share here the amounts -there are some doctors both traditional and alternative who have upped the dosages from what I posted here http://pursuitofresearch.org/faq.html What I just found out from the manufacturer recently is that nutriiveda is 100 percent water soluble -even the vitamin a and e in it. He told me if the product was a liquid that wouldn't have been possible -but somehow the way it's manufactured it was possible. And some docs were upping the dosages even prior to this. OK and yes I did up Tanner a bit and that's when I posted the new surges (like the report he wrote in the car and jumping over the hedge in front of my house over and over without falling!) Hydration like dosage is very important. Dr. Tom said he follows the basic rule of (can't remember the exact formula but basically you 1/2 your body weight and use that as an approximation for how much you need to be drinking daily) Here again is 's update -and her email is denise.mcquade@... I have her number but don't want to call her as it's a holiday weekend but will find out from her if it's OK to give you her number. She's in NY and like you they started her grandson on nutriiveda in February -so interesting to see if she has input for you from her grandson's doctor. Especially since she has reported to me now that he is starting to speak -and that's when we last spoke which may have even have been a month ago now? First few days on Nutriiveda for autistic grandson Day 3 on Nutriveda We only started our grandson on Nutriveda this past Saturday with 1/2 a scoop and since he seemed to be fine with it we bumped him up to a full scoop on Sunday and today. I could not wait to send this email to the group because I could hardly contain my excitement. Our 3 1/2 year old grandson was diagnosed with Autism and Apraxia when he was just 18 months old. He is currently non verbal and has received just about every therapy you could name over the last year with very small amounts of slow and steady improvement. I would categorize him unfortunately as a non responder until Nutriveda came into our lives. Although we haven't heard any new sounds or words yet his sense of awareness, cognition and disposition is undeniably greatly improved in just a few days. Just today he started playing with toys he has never touched before, eye contact is great and he has started to imitate things in his cartoons. I am keeping my fingers crossed and praying this is going to be a big WOW for us since we have yet to find anything to date to give us the feeling that we might be on the right track. I am so grateful to this group and I promise to continue to keep everyone up dated on our journey. Day 5 on Nutriveda WOW my daughter and I could hardly believe what we witnessed today. My grandson for the first time ever was able to steer his bike for approximately 2 city blocks. He just started to pedal ever so slowly about a week or so ago and we were so happy with that and figured the steering may not come for many months if at all.....but today he suddenly started to steer the bike away from the grassy edges of the path and kept the bike going straight. Thank GOD my daughter had her flip video camera with her so she video taped 3 minutes of this amazing bike ride. Thank you everyone for sharing your experiences with Nutriveda and if there is one think I am sure of now is NEVER GIVE UP HOPE. http://pursuitofresearch.org/testimonials.html ('s blog is linked from here too for those that don't know who Robin and Mel are) Again please email at denise.mcquade@... and I hope she can provide you with advice to further help your son and update us here with some of the amazing surges her grandson continues to have! =====
Guest guest
Forgot to tell you about testing. Dr. Tom and the rest of the docs behind nutriiveda as I posted here recently are looking for professional anecdotal- even behind the scenes not posted here data. They are willing to speak to any medical doctor about this as I know this is a step toward research as well. I will put info from them below but this was mainly in regards to why those afflicted with seizures are seizure free almost immediately once on nutriiveda and why meds are being reduced and soon to be eliminated in more than one case in our group. After speaking with a few of the doctors however they have very out of the box brilliant theories as to why nutriiveda is helping our population and may have suggestions for what tests (if any) your doctor can run. I can tell you there are quite a few of us seeing the surges without tests Please email me at lisa@... so I can provide you with personal contact info for the doctors because the documentation is most important right now. This needs to be validated because without it without a doubt people will continue to believe it sounds too good to be true -and that alone may keep some from trying it...which is sad. In my opinion everyone needs to try this! From Dr. Tom: Thanks for the inspiring testimonial. The results, although dramatic, are not surprising. The amino acid profile of NutriiVeda would undoubtedly assist and support the healing of any neurotransmitter deficiency, whether seizures, depression, anxiety disorder, insomnia. Parkinson's disease, due to its unique nature, would be less likely to show significant; however, we did have an unexpected and dramatic improvement in an individual with Parkinson's using Zrii. To answer the question/concern regarding serotonin level monitoring during the consumption of NutriiVeda: it is not necessary. However, if an individual does have any of the neurotransmitter deficiency disorders listed above and DOES wish to monitor their neurotransmitter levels, I would be most supportive of this documentation. The most extensive neurotransmitter testing available is done at home, rather than at a lab, on a morning urine, and is covered by most insurances including Medicare and HMO's. Many physicians, including Neurologists and Psychiatrists, are unaware of this home-based test, its insurance coverage, or how to interpret the results. Any IE or consumer wishing to obtain such neurotransmitter testing may contact Geng who will contact me directly. Email at lisa@... as she will pass on to me and I will have the lab test kit drop shipped to them. I will serve as the ordering physician and ensure their primary care physician receive a carbon copy of results. His is also author of the book Eat, Taste, Heal An Ayuvedic Guidebook and Cookbook for Modern Living) From Dr. Suhas: Aloha, NutriiVeda is an ideal herbal food supplement. It takes care of some vital nutrients absolutely needed for the optimum functioning of neuro-physiology but also the herbs like Amalaki-Turmeric-Guggul- Gymnema work on opening the micro circulatory channels. They also regulate the various endocrine pathways. It is very likely that there is better oxygenation to the brain and harmonious functioning of the Rt and Lt hemispheres because of reduced inflammation. Serotonin- It does not increase or decrease anything but it regulates these subtle molecules by improved Lymphatic Return in the circulation. According to Ayurveda Serotonin and Melatonin are Sun/Moon, Male/Female, Silence/Dynamism, Yin/Yang like principles, which are effectively regulated by these intelligent herbs. Great testimonial, we do expect many more in many diverse areas.
