Guest guest
If you are having trouble explaing to your child, try to get your child to focus less on physical atributes and more on the things she likes about that friend. At such a young age the more important thing you would want to teach your child the good qualities of a person rather then the physical differences. If that fails tell her mickey mouse is short and hes cool is'nt he! LOL ~leisa~
Guest guest
Felica, It will get better soon!! TRY to not eat the noodles even if they do go down ok..:-0 4 more days and you can have milk, yogurt ect and it will make a HUGH difference!! 14 lbs in 10 days is GREAT!! Remember, any weight loss in the first six weeks is a "BONUS". You are already ahead of the game!! The hardest part right now is having PATIENCE!! Be patient and in time, you will lose, slowly, but you will lose!! Don't forget to measure yourself!!! It's amasing to see the inches drop even when the scale stalls! "boot camp" is almost over!! You can do this!! I'm rootin' for ya!!! Guest guest
Felica, I hear ya! My daughter Jacqui was"starving" in the van coming home from Mexico!! LOL....Each one of us is so different with that initial restriction. Some have it, some have none like her. I would talk to Nina and see what she thinks about a fill at 4 or 5wks. I had my first at 7wks and really needed it at 4. Also, ask her if you can start some milk based protien drinks, soups and puddings. And of course the more water the better. I always had something in my hand, cup of broth, bottle of gatorade, hot tea nearly all day long those first few weeks!! So drink-up..:-) Let us know how it goes!...ok? Guest guest
Hi , I wasn't sure that I needed a fill either. Your situation sounds quite similar to mine. If losing weight stalls after eating all your protein, I'd have a fill. Maybe even before?? After going back to Mexicali for my first fill last weekend, I do not have any more feeling of restriction, which kind of surprised me. . .but I KNOW that when I follow the rules- I can lose weight. : / When/if I start feeling very discouraged, I'll go in for another one, but probably closer to home. I would love a free sample of that protein and a discount if possible. What else do I need to do? Thanks for thinking of us!!! Muchmore <melissamuchmore@...> wrote: Hi, I'm posting because I needed some advise once again. I am 6 weeks post surgery. I have lost 25 pounds. If I eat a bite of meat that isn't small enough, I feel the pain of it going down. I haven't had any of the pbing though. I also can eat anything and I'm starting to get hungry a lot more often. I am following the rules of when to drink and trying to stick to the calories of 800. I haven't gone over 1200. I thought I would know when I needed a fill, because I have researched so much...but I'm not sure. What do you guys think? 245/ 218.6/ 140 Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. While you are taking antibiotics also take probiotics as described in my article " How to Successfully Overcome Candida " - but take them 3 hours apart from taking the antibiotics (either before or after). Antibiotic are toxic/poisonous to your body, and they will increase candida overgrowth which produces toxins too, so your body will be overloaded with toxins. After you've finished the antibiotic you should do everything possible to help your body detoxify: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/detox.php At the same time stick to the diet and take all of the supplements. You can start back on VCO after helping your body detoxify for 2 weeks. Then start with 1 teaspoon or less 3 times a day, and gradually increase it. The best to you, Bee

Guest guest
Looking for advise on pre-school choices. My apraxic daughter is turning 3yo in July and is currently being evaluated for her IEP. We live in Montclair NJ where the Developmental Learning Center is said to be fabulous. So far all my contact with the program has been less than warm though and I am not yet sold on the program. My daughter has had huge progress since she turned 2.5yo. Her sentences range from 2-5 words though it is still difficult to understand many of the words. She now attempts almost every word even if many sound similar. She has had such great success in the recent past I hesitat to make any changes. Right now she is in a regular preschool, has PROMPT speech 2x week, PT 1x week, music class, and gym class. So here is the real question: I am considering keeping her at her current school (where she will have the same teachers and many of the same friends in her class) 3x a week and sending her to the DLC 2x a week for her serrvices. Keeping 1x week PROMPT. Is this crazy when they are offering her the DLC 5x a week in a contained classroom with children with mixed issues (though none on the spectrum). Any advise or experience would be appreciated.
Guest guest
Hi Pam, I am sure you were scared to have the surgery and you found out it was OK and you liked the results. I know that it is scary starting to eat real food--ease into it. When you start with real food, I would suggest for a protein that you try chicken first. Just a small amount and tiny bites and chew, and chew. I stay away from a lot of red meat--that was just my choice. Just introduce small amount of healthy food at first. You will learn what is working for you what isn't. But I promise you if you eat healthy foods, you will not gain any weight. Remember there is a point where you will stall and not have a weight loss, and for me it was for 9 days, and then I started to lose weight, so please don't panic, we have all been through this period more than once for some of the people on here. Try using this site to track what you are eating for awhile to keep your calories at 800 per day. NO white carbs or refined sugar. http://www.thedailyplate.com/ You really need to write down everything you are putting in your body and this is a great site. Start walking a little each day and add to the distance that you walk each week. Suzanne
