Guest guest
We had a long drive yesterday to the pediatric neurologist. Sweet Pea had two suspected petite mall seizures at school about the middle of May 2010. An EEG was ordered at that time. Of course, it was about the same time our first supply of NV arrived so we decided to delay it until the EEG was completed. Nothing was found and we began the NV plan (2 scoops once a day for her age). When she called with the results, we told her that we had added NV and she was ok with that. Last time Sweet Pea was seen was January 2010. At that time, she had finally started to talk in complete sentences but with unclear speech and endings missing off words. She still used sign language to assist with her communication (about 60 words). She had a speaking vocabulary of about 100 words. Dr said that her progress is 'remarkable' and to keep doing whatever we are doing. More testing has been ordered. We will keep posting results.
