Guest guest
Hallo all & and Sully, thank you for your speedy reply! I forgot to mention that I am new to the group.(Please read my first message) I put my self on CR in June last year (2001) for two reasons: 1.Appalling overweight developped during four prior years due to lack of intensive excercise that my body simply seems to need. 2. Overwhelming evidence pouring in as to the health benefits of leaner frame and continuous CR. Since June I've lost 21 kg (I have no idea how many pounds this may be)with the " no-counting, vegetable & fruit combined with sports " method that I made up for my self. Now I have reached my set point,I am afraid. That is to say that my current weight is one my system seems to gravitate towards, and that getting onder that weight will demand a lot of sweat and tears and will by definition be a very slow process.I wouldn't mind, because as they say " it's the journey that matters " , as long as I could be sure I am on the right track. I am happy with the overall sense of vitality that I have been experiencing from the start, I have also missed the obvious colds and flu's last year and this year. At this point I am busy trying to find other CR's in the country I live in/interest other people here for CR. Amazingly enough, so far without much luck. People here seem to be taken aback by the mere idea of using less calories, whereas to my experience you can easily go with less calories if the composition of food is right! And now, before I go on advocating CR here, I would very much appreciate your evaluation of the composition(see my first message). Therefore, all tips from all of you would be very, very welcome! Thank you all in advance, Sinikka
