I know I sounded desperate and sometimes I feel that way. I'm the type of

person who is very impatient and I know that when you have a child with a speech

disorder, things are going to have to go at their own pace.

I contacted the develop.ped and I can't even make an appointment until they

receive all the paperwork (i.e. application, ARD report, testing results from

the school district, teacher survey). As it is, they are 6 months behind. I'm

going to have to wait till he's almost four.

The good news is that we are going to treat it likes its Apraxia and continue

speech therapy 3x a week for 45 min. In addition, the short amount of time he

gets through PPCD.
