Guest guest
I used to be a member then stopped membership. Now I'm back. Our son is ny age 11.5 who has Sotos (which is a genetic condition causing developmental delay, overgrowth, and a certain " look " ). Added to that he lost the few words he had at age 26 mos and became autistic-like. He has improved since then but still has no words. We have tried MANY therapy programs, methods, diets, you name it. He does not attend school but has a speech therapist working with him 4 hours each morning, Mon-Fri. He learned to read (at age 3)through the Doman method (and we did that program for 3 years!) and is learning very slowly to spell (on a Neo laptop). I am interested to see if there is still something we can do to help him TALK. (ny 11.5 yrs)
