Will adding cod liver oil compromise effectiveness of EFA and EPA?

Hi,

Our doctor wants me to give me 2yr old cod liver oil (Nordic Naturals) - in

order to get vitamin A into him.

I have held off on doing this for now, as I wasn't sure if this would in any way

affect the progress that we appear to have been having using the 2:1 ratio of

EFA to EPA? He hasn't suggested that I stop using these two fish oils - just

wants me to also add the CLO.

I have no intention of stopping the EFA and EPA, but am curious to know if also

adding Cod Liver Oil would have any negative affect with regards to speech?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Ruby Ruby Ruby!!! You are aware that NV is very high in a water soluble form of

vitamin A right? Please take all the information to this doctor about

nutriiveda and ask if you can use this instead of cod liver oil. Yes cod liver

oil will change the formula -raise the DHA over the EPA and increase the O3

higher over the O6 and the only O3 you can do that with and see results

typically is the EPA not the DHA. Please see the other message I just sent you.

Most I know here when adding cod liver oil to ProEFA/EPA notice regressions due

to this -and you'll also find archives that when stopping CLO to use the

ProEFA/EPA instead report surges. Share this with your child's doctor in brief
