Guest guest
I was just wondering, you mentioned Tanner was taking 4 ProEFAs and 2 ProEPAs for a long time prior to Nutriiveda. Would this be twice a day or is it 2 ProEFAs and 1 ProEPA twice a day for a total of 4 and 2. As well, is Omega 3-6-9 better than ProEFA and ProEPA ? I am just wondering as I put my daughter back on ProEFA/ProEPA. I have noticed since putting them back in she has been falling asleep one hour later now. Just wondering is this temporary ? What dosage should I go up to for her ? She is 10 years old and weighs 65 lbs. In the past I used to give her 2 ProEFAs and 1 ProEPA twice a day and there were surges initially but then nothing much more. Would she need more maybe ? Thanks Demi
Guest guest
Just an FYI. is out of town today. Not sure when she will be able to reply to email. In the next few days is my guess. I believe ( can correct me) that the 4/2 is the total Tanner was on per day. Omega 3-6-9 (Nordic Naturals) is as good as the ProEFA/EPA. Hope that helps. Guest guest
Demi I always gave my boys all their fish oils in the AM at once. Well Dakota for a bit did have extra oils in the afternoon through the school nurse as the school professionals reported he was more focused in his AM classes then his PM and the school psychologist who's husband is a cardiologist in town (Dr. Gage in Stuart) are HUGE believers in the importance of the essential fatty acids suggested it- and it did work to make Dakota more focused on the days he REMEMBERED to get his after lunch extra fish oils from the school nurse. But with Tanner for apraxia we never noticed a difference if it was split up. So yes for years he had 4 ProEFA and 2 ProEPA in the AM. For Tanner we have been able to cut his fish oils in half after a few months on nutriiveda which I did in theory after learning about 's situation- http://littlemermaidmelanie.wordpress.com Clearly nutriiveda helps the body metabolize better. And for the first time Tanner did not regress when off- in fact with the combo of fish oils and nutriiveda as you can read in recent messages- Tanner has surged beyond our wildest dreams- and certainly beyond normal in some areas. Dakota who has not been on nutriiveda as long as Tanner -and no we can't lower his fish oils yet. But I suspect we will be able to as well. The combo of the essential fatty acids and the essential amino acids has been nothing shy of (dare I say a CURE???) miraculous surges across the board. So Tanner takes 2 ProEFA and 1 ProEPA each AM and he is now on 6 scoops of nutriiveda a day- 3 in the AM and 3 in the PM. His food intake has also increased and as some of you have seen him on my fb pages (have to upload a photo here) he is not only soaring in his speech, academic, motor planning skills -but height too. Did we make sure height is in the survey? http://pursuitofresearch.org/survey.html I have to check. He is approaching 5 foot 11 inches at 13 years old. In fact the height gain which is also pretty sudden on nutriiveda -that was the motivating factor to get Dakota to start taking it twice a day- prior to that trying to get 2 scoops into him a day was like pulling teeth! Dakota has started to shoot up too -so thank goodness at 15 it wasn't too late to help him in the area of height! For those of you with little ones on nutriiveda -measure the height growth as well!!!! =====
