Guest guest
Yep, a Hurricanes fan. I did not know that about Bernie Kosar -- but I'm glad he is helping his nephews and other kids with ASD! Surely you have read about Dan Marino's work with all kids with disabilities in the Miami area -- yes, I know he went to the University of Pittsburgh (I'm in PA) -- but the Miami theme made me think of him too. Here's hoping the Doug Flutie will have more time to devote to his already successful foundation and family (though I read he is going to be on ABC College Day TV). Guest guest
I personally could never forget that Hail pass. I was with all of my family in Newton, MA huge BC fans. Flutie is most definitely a class act. He goes around to local clubs with his band " The Flutie Brothers " and raises money for his son's foundation. - >From: Cregar <diana.cregar@...> >Date: Tue May 16 12:09:34 CDT 2006 >EOHarm >Subject: RE: Re: Doug Flutie Foundation >Doug Flutie is a class act! Guest guest
I was Boston College Class of 1985 with Doug Flutie and those years were heady fun. He's a terrific guy, down to earth and has done so much for this area. And yeah, he's still a heartthrob! LOL! > >> > >> In case some of you aren't sports fans -- Quarterback Doug Flutie > >> retired from professional football yesterday after a 21-year > >career > >> including several NFL teams and the Candian League. Guest guest
He is an amazing guy. Sorry to see him retire. Same with Dan Marino. When he was on Capital Hill a couple of years ago for an event he was very accomodating to all the families, the kids there with ASD. He too attracted many staffer, helps to have those big names, and he is a very compassionate guy about wanting to see chages as is Mr. Flutie.
