Guest guest
Hi there, I take my son to a clinic called Blue Balloon in Burlington. The therapists are all trained in Sara Rosenfeld-'s oral motor therapy techniques. We live in Kitchener and it is a 45 minute drive but they are the closest clinic that I've found to us that are so knowledgeable about oral motor therapy. Blue Ballon brought Sara Rosenfeld- up from Arizona to do workshops in order to train their staff. That was in the spring. I was lucky enough to get an appointment with Sara. She assessed my son and confirmed that he has apraxia. She set up a full program for him and our therapist at Blue Balloon is implementing it. Blue Balloon is actually opening up another clinic in Waterloo in February and they also have a site in Toronto so you have a couple of options on where to go depending on where you live. Here is a link that you can check out (for the Burlington site). If this doesn't work just google 'Blue Balloon'. http://www.blue-balloon.com/ I hope this helps!
