Guest guest
Hi, I started my son on EFA (one tsp of NN Omega 3-6-9 plus one tsp of NN ProEPA once a day) about a month ago, and saw huge improvements in eye contact, language and social behavior. On Sunday, I increased it to *two* spoons of Omega 3-6-9 plus one tsp of ProEPA. We're seeing two odd things over the last few days: he's laughing excessively (and at inappropriate times) and has had constipation for the last three days. Are these side-effects from upping the dosage of EFAs? Any ideas what to do in this situation? P.S. I also gave him one capsule of Vitamin E on Sunday (Thorne's - has 500 IU) but stopped that after hearing about the potential problems with mega-doses of fat-soluble vitamins.
