Guest guest
Thank you so much for this post. I am still new and have so many questions. You all seem so very well informed in your posts and I hate being the new kid. This post about fish oil is exactly what I needed. I still have one question though. I'm looking at my bottle of NN ProEFA capsules and for a serving of two capsules it gives me 270 mg of EPA, 180 mg of DHA, and 66 mg of GLA. If I give my son one capsule then that should give him 125 mg of EPA, 90 mg of DHA and 33 mg of GLA. Trust me, I am not a mathamagician but that still seems to be short although close to the reccomended 148 mg EPA, 99 mg DHA and 40 mg GLA. Does this matter, If so, how am I still not coming up with the right combo, did I buy the wrong kind? Even though, I don't come up that short, I'm afraid that by sqeezing the oil out of the capsule I won't be getting all of the oil out and it will be an even shorter dosage. When I say I'm new, I mean BRAND new, thanks for helping out this newbie! One more question, I have heard that fish oil is good for High Cholesterol which my husband has and Arthritis which I have. We have just been taking the ProEFA too. Seems easier to just buy one big bottle a month for the whole family. Does anybody else take ProEFA for themselves. Have you seen any benefits? Thank you!
